Cheating Detector using shell scripting

Image
Fig 1: Flowchart representing the algorithm for detecting cheating during online exams. In the world post pandemic many things have changed and that includes the fact that work from home has become the norm. Now, as the things are moving online so are the assessments for students and professionals and in this world of technological revolution it is highly possible that certain malicious activities might go unnoticed. Hence, I developed a simple bash script that uses scrot to take the screenshot of the desktop at regular intervals and tessarect to do some O.C.R on the captured image to extract text from there and then checking if it contains the word Azure(in ideal scenario it would be the name of the hosting platform that contains text) in such a scenario nothing is done by the program but the moment window is switched notification is sent to the user alerting him/her of possible change in window. Female Discrimination

Image
Since times immemorial in our society it has been documented that females of our population have faced discrimination in one form or the other and this also applies on girls being educated in our society. Thus someone can claim that "Males" gets more opportunity for getting education  as compared to "Females". Topic Finder: My first shell Script

Image
In any research and development one of the essential step is literature survey and for doing that we need to study a vast array of topics. Consider the example of PV modules, In order to begin and start with any developments in this area it is required that we have got an entire knowledge surrounding the topic of PV modules. This includes "partial shading", "soiling" etc. Now,  ordinarily we would be opening a browser searching through google and surfing through a ton of pages. In order to simplify the process of finding related topics, I made a bash script that uses an external API called as core. core is an open source research article search engine and provides an API to search its database for journal articles. Sometimes it might so happen we might also not know the field of application of certain tools like regression which is being used in biological science for study, these types of insight might open new doors of thinking. Hence, decided to create a simple b...
